How to successfully redirect to the Jelbi app – despite browser protection.

Some browsers block automatic redirection from websites to apps for security reasons. Totally understandable from a safety perspective – but sometimes a bit annoying. Here’s how you can fix the issue.

  • E-Scooter
  • E-Moped
  • Bikesharing
  • Carsharing
  • Taxi
  • ÖPNV

Why aren’t you redirected to the app after logging in?

Most browsers have built-in protection against automatic redirection to apps. These features are often called “Protocol Handlers,” “App Links,” or “External Applications.”

Privacy-focused browsers like Brave tend to have stricter default settings that block such redirects.

Here’s how to fix it: Look for one of the following terms in your browser settings:

  • Protocol Handler
  • External Applications
  • App Links
  • Website Permissions

Then allow redirects for our website and reload the page.

In Brave, you’ll find it here:

  • Click the Brave icon (the lion) in the address bar
  • Or go directly to: brave://settings/content/handlers
  • Also important: Go to the privacy settings and disable “Redirect tracking URLs” – this can also block the redirect.

Still not working?
