FAIR PARKING.

Rental bikes and scooters are super convenient because you can rent and park them anywhere in the business areas. But please: Be fair to each other and park the two-wheelers so that no one feels disturbed or obstructed!

We have put together a few tips for you below on how to park properly, because new regulations apply according to §11a BerlStrG (Berlin Street Law):

  • Please be considerate of others when parking and respect the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities.
  • In more and more neighborhoods, no-parking zones are being established so that parking is only allowed on Jelbi points, Jelbi stations and other designated parking areas.
  • Do not obstruct guide strips for the blind, bike lanes or sidewalks.
  • Please park parallel to the curb at the curb edge and keep at least 2.30 meters of sidewalk width clear. If the sidewalk is too narrow, please find another parking space.
  • Keep intersections, pedestrian areas, greenways, entrances and driveways clear.
  • Stay 15 meters away from streetcar and bus stops.
